The Sacrament of Baptism

We are pleased to help your family prepare for the special event of your child’s entrance into our faith community.
To help parents and godparents prepare, a class (English) is held the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm in the Community Center and in Spanish the 2nd Saturday of each month at 9:00am at Guadalupana.
Parents and Godparents must attend this class prior to scheduling baptism.

Preparing for the Sacrament of Marriage?

Blessed Trinity will host Pre-Cana Marriage Preparation classes from 8am-5pm in the King of Kings Building on the following dates:

  • Saturday, October 5, 2024

The cost is $50 per couple and includes continental breakfast and lunch.

Sacramental Preparation

First Reconciliation and Communion sacramental preparation is made in 2nd grade. Children who are not baptized or did not make First Reconciliation and Communion in 2nd grade are given the opportunity to prepare to receive these Sacraments at Sunday morning classes that run from 10:00 a.m. to 10:50 a.m.

The Sacrament of Confirmation is usually conferred by Bishop Noonan in our parish on a Saturday morning in the month of February. The exact date for 2025 has not been set; once the Diocese sets the date and time it will be published on this page.

High school students who wish to be confirmed can register for an evening class to prepare for the Sacrament. Contact Dr. Barry Meehan at the Faith Formation Office: (352) 629-8092 or bmeehan@blessedtrinity.org.
