At the beginning of Salvation history, God revealed Himself to Israel by making His name known to Moses in the burning bush – I AM.  God shared His name with us because He did not wish to be anonymous, he wanted to be in relationship with us.  The Catechism states that a name “expresses a person’s essence and identity and the meaning of a person’s life” and that disclosing your name to another person makes you “accessible, capable of being known more intimately and addressed more personally.”

On the weekend of April 27/28 Blessed Trinity will host our second Name Tag Weekend of the year!  Name tags and pens will be provided in the portico so that we can meet and learn the names of those who sit around us each week at Mass!  Please arrive a few minutes early so that you can participate and share your name!
