PreCana is a one-day marriage preparation course.

Purpose: To prepare engaged couples for a Sacramental Marriage. 

Responsibilities:  Team member responsibilities include assisting with the logistics of the day, facilitating discussion and exercises amongst the couples and presenting topics as they relate to both relationships and the nature of the Sacrament.

Helpful Attributes: A successful marriage; Commitment to Church teachings; Willingness to engage in group discussions.

Time Commitment: PreCana sessions start at 8:00 a.m. and end with the 4:00 p.m. Mass.  Team members who present topics will need to prepare a presentation ahead of time. 

Training Required: Training is conducted through observation of one PreCana session and familiarity with the materials provided to the couples.

Fingerprinting Requirements: None.
