To assure applicants get the services needed, we conduct short interviews with each to determine if we have the resources to help them or can guide them to a service that does. 

Purpose: To serve those in need of immediate assistance with food, clothing, household goods and utilities. 

Responsibilities:  Interviewers meet with applicants and determine their most immediate needs and how they can be aided. 

Helpful Attributes: Friendly, good people skills, compassionate and basic computer skills.

Time commitment: The Emergency Assistance office is open 9am-3pm Monday through Friday.  Most interviewers work 9am-12pm or 12pm-3pm one day a week.

Training required: 2 or 3 sessions with an experienced interviewer
