Applicants for assistance in our Emergency Assistance Program complete paper applications.  Data Entry volunteers help to enter client data from paper applications into our computer database.

Purpose: To produce a digital record of applicants’ information so interviewers can easily access.

Responsibilities:  Volunteers enter information from hard copy applications to digital files. 

Helpful Attributes: Basic computer skills

Time commitment: Flexible. Most data entry volunteers work 1-3 hours a week. 

Training required:  Orientation of procedures
